Raja Ampat islands are located in the western region of West Papua province of Indonesia. The archipelago has been famous for its beautiful tropical islands with the highest marine bio-diversity in the world. How to get to Raja Ampat
- Visitors can fly from Shanghai or Guangzhou China to Manado city and then continue their trip using domestic airline to Waisai town of Raja Ampat.
- International visitors can also fly from Singapore to Manado city by Scoot Air and then to Sorong city by domestic airlines of Indonesia such as Lion Air. They can go to Waisai town of Raja Ampat by fast passenger ferry.
- Another way is by flying to Jakarta (the capital of Indonesia) and then to Sorong city which is the main gate to Raja Ampat.
- Visitors from Australia and New Zealand can fly to Denpasar and then take a domestic flight to Sorong city.
- For those who live in the Pacific islands, they can cross border in Vanimo town overland to Jayapura city and then take a domestic flight to Sorong city. There is also regular passenger ship liner services provided by PELNI Ships that go to Sorong city.
